Letter #5

Christmas 2002

Hello to Everyone and Happy Holidays! I hope that this letter finds everyone healthy and happy. You are probably wondering what happened to the letter last year, well, to be quite honest I don’t remember. It must have been a hectic time of year… I remember sending out cards, but not the letter. I am so sorry about that, so here is another year in our lives.

Bill and I just celebrated our 3^rd Wedding Anniversary on October 22 of this year. It is so hard to believe that 3 years have come and gone. We love being married and God has truly blessed us in our marriage. We look forward to many more years of happiness.

God has sent another blessing our way… We are going to be parents in March of 2003. I am 6 ½ months pregnant and we are due on March 8, 2003. The time has flown by since we found out we were expecting. All is going well and according to our last ultra sound all signs point to us having a little boy. He will be named William Charles Brinkley, III (after Bill). We are so excited and can’t wait for him to get here. We have the baby’s room done and we know he will be here before we know it! Both sets of grandparents are thrilled as well as you can imagine. This will be an exciting time in our lives!

Bill and I are still employed at Central Missouri State University (CMSU). I am ½ way through my 3^rd year at Central and Bill will be celebrating 4 years in Jan. 2003. I really enjoy working with the students that love to volunteer their time to help others and Bill is still “fighting crime”. CMSU went through budget cuts this summer and that was a scary time, but we are both still employed and very thankful.

It is hard to believe that another year has gone by so quickly and this time next year I will be reporting on the changes and growth of our baby. I truly wish love and happiness on all of you and your families and many blessings!
